Holy Crap We May Have Sold The House

We've always wanted to cruise with the kids but it was never the right time. About a month ago we decided that the school year was going to be a mess. Katie was not going to get the normal senior year that she desired. Mike's work is a mess. It was time for a change.

We scrambled to get the house ready to be put on the market. It was a crazy hard few days. Cleaning, painting, runs to storage. We were exhausted. My house is now boring greige (a mix of beige and gray). All the beautiful color is gone. It's boring and definitely makes it easier to sell.

So what is our plan? Sell house, buy boat, and leave. Covid adds a bit of difficulty but we will figure that out as we go. If everything goes according to plan (haha) then we will take two years, cruise the Caribbean and then cross the pacific to cruise the south pacific. An amazing two years with our kids.

So tonight we have a good offer but they want to close in three weeks!! We don't even have a boat yet. We could be homeless in three weeks. We still need everything to fall in place but it may actually happen. Holy Crap!! So much to do. Oh yeah and did I mention that we plan to take the dog along...
